여기에 나오지 않은 프로그램의 포트 번호는 소프트웨어 제조사에 물어보면 알 수 있다. 몇몇 프로그램은 정해진 포트 번호를 쓰지 않고 사용자가 마음대로 정하는 메뉴를 둔다. 그런 프로그램을 쓴다면 포트 번호를 10,000번보다 높은 숫자로 정하는 것이 좋다. 이렇게 하면 다른 프로그램과 포트가 충돌하는 문제가 생기지 않는다.
